These Terms govern your use of Kitana on the website and mobile
application (together, the "Service"). By using Kitana you agree to
these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 12 years old to use Kitana. By using
the App you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
On the web, your first eligible creation may use an anonymous temporary account.
You may optionally link an Apple or Google account to back up your work.
You are responsible for keeping your linked account credentials secure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use Kitana to:
Create non-consensual imagery of any real person (including deepfakes, misleading edits, identity impersonation).
Generate sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or harassing content.
Generate images depicting minors in inappropriate scenarios.
Violate intellectual property — don't upload photos you don't have rights to.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond the in-app limits.
Bypass payment — don't share your subscription account with others.
We may suspend access immediately for any violation. Repeat or severe
violations may also be reported to law enforcement.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading, you grant Kitana
a limited license to:
Process the photo through our AI pipeline
Store the input and output in our Cloud Storage on your behalf
Display the result back to you inside the Service
We do not claim ownership and do not use your photos to train AI models.
5. AI-Generated Content
AI-generated images:
Are produced by OpenAI gpt-image-1, a third-party model.
May contain artifacts, inaccuracies, or unexpected output. This is the nature of AI generation and not a defect.
Carry the same usage rights as OpenAI permits — you can use generated images commercially provided you comply with OpenAI's usage policies.
We provide them "as is" with no warranty of accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose.
6. Subscriptions & Payment
6.1 Free tier
2 photo generations per day.
6.2 Pro tier
Weekly: $3.99 USD / week
Monthly: $9.99 USD / month
Yearly: $89.99 USD / year
6 photo generations per day, ad-free.
6.3 Billing
Web purchases are processed by Creem. Web subscriptions recur weekly, monthly, or yearly according to the plan you choose, unless you cancel them.
For web purchases, manage cancellation and refund requests through Creem.
Mobile-store purchases are billed and managed by Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable. Cancellation and refund requests for those purchases are managed by that store.
6.4 Price changes
We may adjust prices. You'll be notified at least 30 days before a price
change takes effect on your renewal.
7. Service Availability
We do our best to keep Kitana running 24/7 but cannot guarantee
uninterrupted service. We may pause AI generation if we hit infrastructure
or cost limits (rare; you'll see a clear in-app message and can retry later).
8. Intellectual Property
The Kitana brand, app design, and code are owned by us. You may not copy
or redistribute them.
9. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY
KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR
MAXIMUM LIABILITY TO YOU IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12
MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR USD 50 IF YOU HAVEN'T PAID).
10. Termination
You can stop using Kitana at any time. We can terminate your access if
you violate these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes
are resolved in the courts of Istanbul, unless otherwise required by your
local consumer-protection laws.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app.
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
